Richard J. Trabulsi, Jr.


Mr. Trabulsi is one of the founders of Texans for Lawsuit Reform and has been active in the organization since its inception, currently serving as president of TLR and chairman of its political action committee, TLR PAC.

Mr. Trabulsi has a background in law and has extensive experience in a variety of businesses, including retail, banking, real estate, ranching and financial investment.    

Mr. Trabulsi received a J.D. from the University of Texas Law School in 1969, where he graduated with honors and served as a Chancellor and Articles Editor of the Texas Law Review.  Mr. Trabulsi clerked for Judge Homer Thornberry of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit for one year following law school and was an Associate at Vinson Elkins in Houston for a short period following his clerkship.

Mr. Trabulsi has been active in community affairs, having served at various times on the boards of the George Foundation, the Houston Museum of Natural Science, the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, the Covenant House, the Houston Committee on Foreign Relations, the Briargrove Elementary School PTO, the Briargrove Property Owners Association, the Lamar High School Business Magnet Program, and the Houston Society For The Performing Arts.

Mr. Trabulsi is a native of Houston, Texas, where he attended St. Thomas High School. He is married to Diane and has two adult children and 2 grandchildren.
