Dick Weekley


Dick Weekley is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and became a U. S. Navy Line Officer serving a tour of duty in Vietnam. He has been active in the commercial real estate and residential homebuilding business throughout his career, including being the co-founder and Vice-Chairman of Weekley Homes, one of America's largest privately owned homebuilders with 2006 revenues in excess of $1.5 billion.

Mr. Weekley has long been active in community affairs, serving on the Executive Committee and Board of the Greater Houston Partnership, the Board of the Metropolitan Houston YMCA (and former Chairman), the Executive Committee and Board of the Governor's Business Council and former member of the Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (Houston Branch).

Dick Weekley is also a Volunteer Founder of Texans for Lawsuit Reform and its Chairman and CEO. In addition, he is a Founder and President of the Quality of Life Coalition in Houston. Mr. Weekley is married, with three adult children.
