JJ Isbell – TLR Board of Directors

Texans for Lawsuit Reform (TLR) today announced the appointment of JJ Isbell to the TLR Board of Directors. Isbell, a fourth-generation Texan, is the founder and president of Texas TransEastern, a privately held petroleum logistics firm based in Pasadena, Texas. In 2023, Texas TransEastern celebrated its 40-year milestone.

In June 2024, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick appointed Isbell to a three-year term on the Texas Facilities Commission. Isbell also currently serves on the boards of the Pujols Family Foundation and the Texas Trucking Association, is a former council member of the City of Pasadena, and a past chairman and president of Pasadena Livestock, Show & Rodeo and the Deer Park Education Foundation.

Isbell and his wife, Lori, share two children and three grandchildren.
