Gov. Stitt pushes for creation of ‘business courts’ in Oklahoma

  • Here’s what happened: Oklahoma is the latest state to consider creating a specialized business court to streamline the resolution of complex business disputes.

  • Texas takes the lead: Last year, Texas became the 31st state to create a specialized business court to handle complex business litigation overseen by highly qualified and experienced judges.   • In a league of our own: Texas boasts the eighth largest economy in the world and recently won Site Selection Magazine’s Governor’s Cup for a record-breaking 12th year in a row for the most business relocations and expansions in the country.
