TLR Co-Founder Dick Trabulsi Retires After More Than 30 Years of Service; Ryan Dumais Promoted to Lead Operations; Board Members Popolo and Hassenflu Step Down

Texans for Lawsuit Reform (TLR) today announced the following leadership transitions: 

“Dick Trabulsi has retired from TLR. TLR and the State of Texas owe Dick a deep debt of gratitude for his decades of leadership and effective advocacy on behalf of our state for a fair and efficient civil justice system. Dick led the team that passed the most comprehensive lawsuit reforms in the country. Dick’s selfless service to Texas for 32 years as co-founder of TLR is to be applauded. Dick is the personification of a ‘servant leader.’

“Ryan Dumais, formerly Chief of Staff to TLR Co-Founder and Chairman Dick Weekley, has been promoted to Vice President of Operations.

“Board Members Joe Popolo and Alan Hassenflu have stepped down from the TLR Board. Joe has been nominated by President Donald Trump to serve as U.S. Ambassador to the Netherlands. Alan remains active in civic leadership for our state, including as Chairman of the Houston Region Business Coalition.”
